Who We Are

Touch of Grace Rare Breed Rescue is a private organization,that was founded                                                       to rescue the rare breeds of dogs and exotic birds. We are all volunteers who                                                     love animals and wish to make a difference, by helping end the pet over                                                             population problem, and rescuing abandoned rare breeds of dogs and exotic                                                    birds. We are a well respected organization that provides this service to                                                            New Jersey, and on occasion the rest of the country... Now even Canada!

What We Do

We feed, house, spay/neuter, microchip, and provide medical care for animals                                                    that have been rescued. We put the animal up for adoption, to find the very                                                      best home for each animal. Prospective adoptive families fill out an application,                                                   and are interviewed.  A TOG volunteer then visits the applicant's home, to                                                      assure it is safe for the animal. How We Do This

We work with animal shelters, veterinarians, other rescue groups, and owners                                           to locate animals in need of care. We then place the animals in foster homes,                                                           (we always need more foster homes)! We take our animals to local                                                                 veterinarians, and nurse them back to health, if needed, before putting up                                                           for adoption.

Our Accomplishments

Touch of Grace has been instrumental in the adoption of many animals.                                                               We continually provide veterinary care for rescued animals. We have                                                                     also paid the required fees to rescue animals from Animal Control                                                               Agencies. We have Helped with the shipping coast.

Our Goals Are To

Decrease animal overpopulation, by expanding our pet spay/neuter                                                              program working with local veterinarians.

Develop and distribute marketing material that will encourage others                                                                     to foster our deserving animals.


Educate grammar school children  to understand animal behavior,                                                                       and know the responsibilities of having a pet.


Create a volunteer run facility, so we can rescue more animals that                                                                   have been left at  animal shelters.
